Beach Trip in March?

We got a call one day from our friends the Alder's for a last minute beach trip. In March? Sure we love the beach, we were there! Unfortunately Merrill could only come for the weekend. The kids and I stayed for half the week and then headed home. But we did find out that Lynneah loves to eat sand, just like her brother Nano (at her age anyway, thankfully he doesn't anymore). And the kids will get in the water now mater how cold it is!
